| subject: | More Laws = Less Killing? |
> > No one did anything, so it is the fault of the > > firearms that he used. > So... Just to make sure I understand correctly. It is the fault of the firearm > because others didn't do what they should/could have done to prevent the > shooting? No, sorry, there is a sarcasm marker missing there. I feel like everyone blames the firearms when, in this case and many others, law enforcement did not do their job beforehand. Had they done so, the problem would have been less likely to occur. OTOH, if someone that messed up did not have a gun, they'd have just built a bomb or run a bunch of classmates over with a vehicle. ISIS has proven that in Europe quite a few times... no guns is not a problem for lunatics and dumbasses. My honest opinion is that the FBI needs to stop looking for dirt on the President, get off their asses, and do their real job of keeping us safe. --- * SLMR 2.1a * "Tryin' is the first step towards failure." - Homer* Origin: CCO BBS - capcity2.synchro.net - 1-502-875-8938 (1:2320/105) SEEN-BY: 15/0 19/36 34/999 90/1 116/18 123/140 153/7715 220/60 222/2 230/150 SEEN-BY: 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 512 267/155 280/464 1027 282/1031 1056 291/1 SEEN-BY: 291/111 320/119 219 340/400 342/13 393/68 633/267 280 712/848 770/1 SEEN-BY: 801/189 2320/100 105 3634/12 5020/1042 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
