Dear Mike,

Your writing interests me. I have a QNAP 209 Pro. It is a linux based box
and allows access by ssh. I just logged on and immediately saw a link to
busybox. Do you have some directions that I can start on how to figure out
what you did to get EAs working on yours.

2ndly I have a problem a competely unrelated problem with Netdrive and the
Sambaclient plugin. I am using IBM Peer without problems, but I cannot get
the Samba plugin under Netdrive to do the same trick. The smbcd.exe keeps
crashing without a trace in the logfile. I am using Netdrive 3.1.0
(registered version) and the samba plugin is:ndpsmb-3.0.27a-20071129.

This is what I find in the log file (for the connection):

2008/02/09 16:51:33.42: 1 1: Entering main loop. My pid is 98. My mutex is
00010025. My debuglevel is 9. Client state size 2940
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 1 1: New client connected 0 to pipe 5
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 0 2: opening client pipe 5
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 1 2: Client request 1 paramlen 0 len 0, reconnect
0. State 00000000
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 1 2: Client request 1 rc 0 resprc 0 resplength 0
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 1 2: Client request 3 paramlen 1544 len 1544,
reconnect 0. State 00000000
2008/02/09 16:51:33.93: 1 2: Connecting to
\\admin:gwenn{at}:10.1.100.10\public. Master KERMIT:0
2008/02/09 16:51:33.99: 4 2: session request ok

But I get a network error: SYS0065: Network access is denied.

I have tried several settings for Workgroup and Master, including leaving
them empty, but nothing seems to solve this.

Any idea?

With kind regards,
Frank
