Just to reiterate that I have had the same experience as Sid with a SimpleTech SimpleShare 500GB NAS. I could not access it using the Peer in eCS 2.0, but using the Samba Netdrive plugin it works, though without the EA support since this NAS doesn't appear to support EAs.
