subject: Re: [OS2HW] OS2 compatible NAS

Dear all,

As I tried to explain the sharing is not the problem, its the use of the
WPS that's blocking and explained by others how they work around that
problem.

From Bart van Leeuwen at the Dutch e-mail list I understood someone is
trying to solve the issues round WPS on network drives that don't support
EA's.

I also have a WSeB server, but unfortunately I cannot discipline my Windows
users not to use any diacritical caracters in filenames (which is sometimes
causing files to become inaccessable). And access to WSeB from Linux
without a Samba client (NFS) is also a drag. Thus I am looking for moving
part of the files to a NAS. And in that way put myself with OS/2
(eComstation) into a WPS problem. But a NAS solves the problem of
inaccessable files.

Thanks for all your replies.

With kind regards,
Frank
