Are you sure that the SCSI chain is ONLY terminated at both ends - that 
means if the card is at one end of the chain, it should be set to 
terminate the chain and the drive at the other end of the chain set to 
terminate the chain. NONE of the drives in between should be set to 
terminate. If the controller card is in the middle of the chain, such as 
when both an internal and external connector are in use, the card should 
NOT be set to tern\minate only the devices (diaks or tape drives) at the 
ends of the run should be set to terminate.
