Are you accessing this NAS unit with a username and password that's set 
up on the NAS unit itself?  (ie - is there an account on the NAS that 
matches your OS/2 login?)

Most NAS units run some form of Linux, and must either be set up with 
the default "USERNAME" and "PASSWORD" (literally) that
OS/2 uses by 
default with the requester, or an active GUEST account that doesn't 
require any sort of sign in or credentials.

OS/2's networking is very robust - I'd be quite surprised if it can't be 
made to connect.
