I have had several computers over time, all AMD except for a Chaintech
9PJL3 socket 478. This one would lock up during boot process, usually on
networking or sometimes at wps load time (blue screen, no action. Finally
it just would not turn on. Tested power supply, tester said it was bad.
Tried another PS, still would not start. The latter power supply is running
this Mercury KT600 with athlon xp 3200. I just swapped the hard drive over
to the merc, and after unloading the old audio driver, ecomstation is right
at home - no reinstallation, and no more bootup problems.

I do have one more intel machine, IBM T21, still going, quite a lap heater.
Along with the Mercury, Soyo SY-5EMA+ (retired working)K7TA with 1.3 duron,
and ASUS M2A-VM HDMI X2-6000 I'm using for BUD DVB-FTA and only one not
running OS/2. Wish I could.
