Well, at least it's going *through* Carla and not being knocked back as a bad area.

For me it's a business, I provide a service, so I need a couple of boxes
running FreeBSD 24 hours. One of those is a regular frankenstein though. :)
TF> Do you know if there's a dos emulator or similar for FreeBSD ?
From INSTALL.TXT:
1.4 Can I run DOS binaries under FreeBSD?
Not yet! We'd like to add support for this someday, but are still
lacking anyone to actually do the work. Ongoing work with Linux's
DOSEMU utility may bring this much closer to being a reality sometime
soon, as perhaps will the BSDI `rundos' emulator which BSDI has been
kind enough to donate to the BSD community. Send mail to
emulation{at}freebsd.org if you're interested in joining this effort!
For now there is, however, a neat utility called "pcemu" in the ports
collection which emulates an 8088 and enough BIOS services to run DOS
text mode applications. It requires the X Window System (provided as
XFree86 3.1.2) to operate.
I don't use X, so I haven't had a chance to check it out.
It might be possible to do a disgusting hack and somehow run a linux DOS
emulator under a FreeBSD linux emulator? :)
Cheers.
