David,
This sounds like a great idea, but there are too
many things going on on the top end of a Reflector telescope. The focuser,
the secondary mirror, the spider, and all the adjustments.
I would think that more adjustment dials would be too much...?
Leave the colamation bolts at the bottom unless you are by yourself on an
Island and have no way
to adjust without help.... Hey put me on an Island with colamation (sp)
bolts on top and I will deal
with it.... Oh yeah I will need food and water, and beer... and some female
natives.. Dream on....
