To each their own.  My son is working for a company that uses html mail for
tracking you.  When I was on dialup, I hated getting someones 2meg email
attachment my self.  I couldn't check my mail in the morning sometimes
because of download times.  When my son visited Norway he had to cut way
back on his net time because of the per byte charges.  This list tries not
to keep people away who will be deterred by such practices.  If you want
and need ftp and www services, why not use them. Why force it through an
email to a thousand people who DON'T want/need it.  Maybe YOUR bandwidth is
fast, free and unlimited.  Not so for everyone.

If  you want to belong to a group that uses email as ftp and www, that is
your choice.  Is it right for everyone?  NO.  Is it superior?  Maybe in
some cases.
