Of course - talent is always the key. But you have to remember that it's
much easier to create a demo and distribute it everywhere on the Internet
than it is to do some work on a Yaroze, send it out, and HOPE the companies
like it enough for you to develop it more.

It's part of my whole argument. :-) It's an add-on for Quake. I forget
who created it, but I believe its origins are in the general Quake community.
Notice how you don't see many Wipeout XL, Crash Bandicoot, etc. expansion
packs for the PSX? It's because developing those is much less financially
viable than creating a PC add-on. You can modify code, pump out new levels,
monsters, and so on; the only cost for your development tools (if you don't
count the computer(s) ) is the time it takes to download good editors and
learn them.
