Yo, Bobby Queen!

I've thought about it and in the past years we have had this happen 3
different times like I had thought.  In all 3 cases they received zero
points for any driver that did not make the field.

I hope that Scott Pruett and Ron Fellowes will wind up driving someone elses
car if they can't get in on car owner points etc.  But I feel making this
change when this has happened in the past would be going just a little too
far.  The other people this has happened to in the past wound up with zero
points and it would be unfair to change the rules for 1 incident.

We may want to discuss this as a possible rule change for next years contest
and I'll welcome any discussion on this decision right now.  Who knows maybe
everyone can agree on tweaking the rule just a little but it would have to
be a rule that would only be used in a severe emergency.  I still think its
wrong to change them mid stream but I'll see what ya'll think. :)
