And, as it now appears, Halliburton did NOTHING wrong, just filled the
"we need it tomorrow" request from the Corp. of engineers.
Also, the New York Times (that bastion of "conservative views")
reported yesterday that Halliburton is not making gross profits from their
contracts in Iraq. It seems that they DID bid for the contracts, and that
their profit from Iraqi operations is in the 3-4% range. Not what one
would think as "profiteering" as initially reported.
Oh, where is THAT part of the story in the main media?
