Don't mean to but in -- but -- I had a thought.
I remember seeing a PHP-BB mod that plugged PHP-BB into a news server
somewhere on the development homepage.
Taking that a step further, what if one were to use a Fidonet compatible
news server (there are more than 2 that exist), and plug PHP into that news
server using the existing MOD (plug in)? At least in this method, one could
offer "2" methods of Fidonet messaging without really any additional
development.
I'm pretty busy with other projects, but I'd be very interested in seeing
anything that anyone can put together!
