From: "Jerry B. Hillman" To: Reply-To: "Jerry B. Hillman" Hi all, I think I've found something to use to hog out my 16" mirror. It is a disc brake disc. Automotive type. Flat surface about 6 inches in diameter. Nice handles to hold on to. Just have to be careful not to bang the mirror with it. Also any hints about pitfalls when doing a 16" F4 - 4.5 would be appreciated. I hope to have my grit within a week and I have heard that a fast mirror is harder to do. I'd love to make it a F6 or maybe F7 but I would end up not using it because of ladders in the dark. Brittle bones and ladders don't go well together. The last time I fell off a step ladder I broke 3 ribs. Any comments are welcome, Clear skies, Jerry --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/1.100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
