Well, The EK-VAX has stereo support and should be somewhat better than what you
are used to. The separate board for sound etc has appeal to me as it would
allow upgrading video without having to rebuy sound capabilities. Video is a
fast moving area with prices dropping and capabilities increasing. Sound on the
other hand seems more stagnant. Once you have a good sound board you wouldn't
need to upgrade it. Not as often as video anyway.
