FWIW,

I will be at the Delmarva mirror-making workshop this Friday, day after
tomorrow, instead of running the NCA Chevy Chase Community Center
mirror-making class in DC. Jerry Schnall should be there, assuming that the
snow is not too excessive, and so on. He's the real expert, after all, with
many decades of experience.

Hopefully, someone can give him a ride back home afterwards - it's just a
few blocks, but it's cold and dark and he's not getting any younger.
