Hello Alan.,

  Sorry , I beg to differ with you over the abuse of OHIP as we have here
in Ontario.  Family's bring in relatives from other countrys and pass 
them off as family via the loop holes to get the OHIP, thus the new
rules for a number of years to getting and keeping a card.

Also, with abuse, is family's wanting to holiday, thus they put their
senior family member's into hospitals under the pretence of a heart
attack , thus they get room and board for that 2 week holiday ...etc
and collect mum or pop on the way home from the airport.

   Actually, my wife tells me that the NDP candidate came to the door
and was on about improvements of OHIP here in Ontario and across
CANADA.    I am waiting to hear a NDP'er propose a private member's
bill on this matter...but I will not hold my breath.

Who are we agreeing with?    NO...we should be saying it,and I am
still awaiting my MP to respond.    He hasn't yet..BTW

Mr. Harper is all we really have,  weenie or not.    Call another
election and he'd be in again.   The last one was predicted,what
a waste when that money could have gone to better use.

  Whenever I am confronted by the BLOC and those all for them, I say
"GO"!   I'll even donate the Carpy-Tire money they'll be needing to
be  ...a country.    BUT... they're country will be a small one
and certainly not the size Quebec is today.

I think given time, they will either disappear, or there will be one
showdown with those of us , sick n tired of all their threats.

I want when they vote, a chance to say if I want them in confederation.
If they want a vote every few years...and it only drags us backwards
then  ...I say we want a vote at the same time.

Hmmm .... 1950s.   They owned a bar or restaurant.   Name of the team
is "The Penticton Vees".

  Well I used to ..too until 1967 and my friend and neighbour Coach
Imlach was fired on National TV ....  I have cursed the Leafs ever
since with the hope they never win the Stanely Cup .... and now
that is  "40" years and climbing.

I have been banned from Toronto BBSes...and every so often a radio
station calls, but the neat thing is I have never had any money
gain from this, so nothing wrong...and thus it is assured they will
make it "41" seasons this year.
