Since Chris doesn't preserve the W register in his powerboost patches, an
interrupt that goes to one of his TFM routines could clear W to zero. If you
happened to be in another routine that was trying to use W (like his BBFHDISK),
the register could be modified without the driver knowing it. (I have no idea
if this is what happens for sure, but it sounds good to me!)
