           SIGN-ON BONUS

goal AMR Washington offers a Sign-On bonus to attract EMT and
Paramedic applicants.
Effective May 15-July 15, 1998, EMT and Paramedic applicants who
accept employment to work at any Western Washington location and who
have not been in AMR employ in the last year will receive.....
 *$100 when the new hire completes three months of employment
 *$100 when the new hire completes six months of employment

   TRANSITION ASSISTANCE
To ease the transition of changing locations, AMR Washington will
provide financial assistance to current AMR EMTs and Paramedics
employed outside of Western Washington who elect to transfer to a
Western Washington location. This offer is effective May 15-July 15,
1998.
Employees who elect to transfer or resign from the new location prior
to completeing six months in the new location will pay back transition
assistance amount through pay roll deduction in their final check.
Assistance with this process is available through the Operations Field
Supervisors or Human Resources.
