 Yeah, I knew you'd ask... and you should know that my answer will be:

Drop into the CoCo library (Lib 10) and do a "bro /key:kernel"  :-)

Up comes KRNL.AR, which is an AR'd ipatch file for making a new kernel which'll
accept numbers as the first character of a filename.  Hopefully, it also tells
you how to install the new kernel.
