   Someone on the list said something about using a piece of felt streched
over the tool for
polishing the sphere out using the CEO mix on the face. Then to figure with
the traditional pitch lap.
   This sounds very interesting, ,could this be any more intrusive that
polishing pads. Felt is
very inexpensive and can be replaced frequently, and regenerated with polish.
         If someone has done this successfully please come forward. I saw
this listed recently, and this
could save many pitch laps for the final figure.  I am willing to
experiment with this notion anyway.
      All comments are welcomed on this matter... bogus idea???
