      I would suggest a dremmel tool with a ceramic/ metal cutting wheel. I
have cut bolts ,tile, tempered
steel, ... The high speed rotation of these little wonders can cut small
items with ease. They tend to
bog down the thicker you go... but they are minature tornados and can't
take on larger contenders.
