For other optics alignment issues I've previously recommended compliant
hinges...even a simple blob of RTV silicone...as mentioned by Richard
Schwartz.

Could that concept be applied for secondary mirror alignment?  Would RTV
silicone have strong enough resistance to constant tension as the compliant
hinge?  (Bond strength?  Tensile strength?)
