I've found a source for Hitachi 63C09EP microprocessors, where I can get:

   1  -   24  @  $9.95/ea
  25  -   99  @  $8.75/ea
 100  -  999  @  $7.80/ea

I'm going to try to get over to there tomorrow and pick up a specifications
book on it.
