 That's the whole problem.  The Internet is NOT a BBS.  Its a network.
 To use it, you need a network operating system.  Simple enough.
 Sure you can hack it and send the right data through your serial
 port to get a connection working - but that isn't using the internet
 to its full potential - and its a hack.

 I already use a Network Operating System - namely MiNTNET.  And hacks
 like STiK are absolutely annoying.  MiNT NET works wonderfully.  STiK
doesn't work for most people - and certainly not for much beyond WWW.
