Not in the primary, secondary, or even tertiary definition of the
word, no.  Not in the way Christofascists want to pretend atheism
is some how a religion.  At best "A cause, a principle, or an
activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion" would meet
the requirements for individual atheists but it's rather rare.
