Definitely onto something.  Over the last week I compared your star test
images against the careful, multi-reading Foucault data for 8, 12, and
20" mirrors.  The agreement was excellent overall. Within the limits
of seeing, your images are well centered on the average star test aspect of
all these mirrors when they are settled down.  These are all pretty good
mirrors.  I was impressed that the subtle defects were correctly
represented.

I like the turbulence effect!  You're spoiling us.  Now what's needed are
buttons labeled HOT MIRROR, COLD MIRROR, EXIT PUPIL TOO BIG, TOO MUCH
COFFEE, HAD LASIK SURGERY, etc.  Never underestimate the ability of a
freeware software consumer to come up with requests.
