To: Reply-To: "Scott Berfield" I am working on my mirror on a lazy susan style platform rather than on a barrel due to space limitations. I plan on making a new, grit-free setup of the same sort for polishing. During grinding I have been doing a few strokes then turning the tool a bit then turning the whole turntable a 1/8th turn or so. Is this the right approach for polishing as well, or do I need to come up with a method that allows me to turn the whole thing more or less continuously as if walking around a barrel? How about for the figuring process (for which I am considering using a 75% lap on top per some advice I got). -sb --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/1.100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
