Down here in Austin Texas it's very common. Both our County First Responders
and the Austin Fire Dept use semi-automatic defibrillators. Then when we
pull up we can just unplug their pads and they plug right into our Lifepack
11. Pretty nice deal.
I'd have to say the semi-auto defibs are pretty common place in the Texas
area all in all.
There even was a State Bill up for putting the SADs "everywhere" and to make
them common place for laypeople. Like putting them next to all fire
extinguishers. It got shot down though.
Thanks,
       John
