     Lurkers Unite?
     Anycase, I'm this totally non-qualified kid.  I do minimal bits of  
volunteer work with the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Canada... about 
300 hours a year.  I've got slips of paper that say I'm an Emergency 
Medical Responder, among other things.  (I'm registered for this 
BTLS course soon, though.)  I'm considering Emergency Medicine as a 
career (waiting to hear from medical schools...), so mostly I like to 
listen to the Pros. 
     Here's a question thrown to the floor.  What's the situation with 
Defibrillators in the USA?  How common is it for Firefighters to be 
using them?  It's very common here, in Ontario, but I've heard that 
it's rare in the States.  Elsewhere in the world...?
