If you're going to insult the poor Canuck, you might have the decency
to do so on the 60's_70's_Progressive_Rock echo, where he's recently
been anointed Temporary (he thinks) Moderator... Especially if you
can think of any topical items to discuss.
I'm looking forward to a King Crimson Live in '69 release next month,
but the only Proggy stuff I bought lately (besides the Moody Blues
box set which is already programmed in my DNA anyhow) is a couple Tull
albums. And the teen genius who enlightened us to the fact that
Black Sabbath wuz the only kool band from those decades has declared
that Tull isn't really Progressive anyway, it's just a guy with a flute
and some guitars. But a visit to http://prog.ari.net/prog/gib.html
prodded me to pull a Stackridge and some Matching Mole LP's outta the
archive for a listen. Oh, I guess this is the CD_Echo. Never mind.
When you get that Box Of Frogs CD, make sure you play "Heart Full Of Soul"
real loud. Yardbirds rhythm section with Rory Gallagher on lead guitar
and Roger Chapman (Family/Streetwalkers) on vocals. Mmmmm.
TTYL.
