On a uvax 2000 running VMS 5.0-2 this ran for a long time and then bombed with Decompress didn't finish correctly. Error when decompressing "emacs-18-52.bck_z" to "emacs.bck". %SYSTEM-F-ABORT, abort I know nothing about the Vomit Making System; I'm just doing this as an exercise to see if I really can get emacs up on it. The tcp/ip software is something we bought from MultiNet. Does anybody know why this doesn't work? Is there a compiled emacs somewhere that I can ftp so that we can have emacs on this machine?
