info: | The Basement BBS started up on 7/4/2017 after a 19 year hiatus. The version of the BBS that you can connect with today is from backup disks from 1990-1993. You can see several of the original messages, files, online games, ATASCII screens, etc. The software that the Basement uses is BBS Express Pro! for the Atari 8 bit computer. We are running the modern version of the BBS on an emulator. This BBS originally ran from 1986 until 1998 in the Cleveland Ohio (216) area. | |||
