This visualization maps the approximate position of Fidonet nodes for a given weekly nodelist.

Modern nodelists are released on a weekly basis, however for the first few years releases were much less regular or organized. Accuracy of the location information for nodes is also somewhat inconsistent, especially for some nets.

Points are colored and larger depending on the number of nodes allegedly at that exact coordinate:
